I'm an Asian-American artist born and raised in sunny Southern California (West Coast = best coast ☻). I was based in London, UK for 6 years and just moved to New York City this year! I originally moved to London to study fashion business management and later opened my own freelance graphic design business while studying. At the end of the day, I realized that I longed for more freedom in my creative practice.

During the intense lockdown of 2021, I picked up a tattoo needle for the first time and it has steadily become my true love. I've challenged myself to continue pushing the illustrative nature of my designs; so on my Instagram (@silky.rabbit), you will encounter a variety of different designs. Some are based on my experiences as a part of the Asian Diaspora and others are just drawn from things that tickle my fancy on the vast Internet.

I love that tattooing not only gifts me the freedom to develop my art style, but also lets me meet new, wonderful people on a daily basis! Thank you for the continued support of my practice ♥
