Info
Disclaimer: You should not be getting tattooed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, hungover or intoxicated with alcohol/drugs, or sick with flu or virus. (In the case of a severe hangover or being under the influence of drugs/alcohol, I will refuse to tattoo you and your deposit will be lost).
LATE POLICY: 12 minutes is my absolute cutoff point as it will most likely cut into the next appointment's tattoo time. This will either result in a $30 late fee ( if I can push back my next appointment) or a reschedule with a new $50 deposit fee which is not included in your quoted price. The decision for rescheduling is for the artist to make, I may reject rescheduling depending on my future availability.
*For Touchups, 5 minutes is absolute cutoff point for lateness. Any no-shows, last-minute cancellations, or late clients will have to pay $30-40 depending on the situation*
Rescheduling: Weekday slots are open to one rescheduling, any more will incur $20 rescheduling fee. For a first rescheduling from or to a weekend slot will incur a $20 fee. Rescheduling is only open for one month after original appointment date.
FLASH VS. CUSTOM DESIGNS
- Repeatable Flash: Designs created to have no limitations on how many times it’s done, unless limitations are stated.
- Non-repeatable Flash: Designs created to be unique for each person it’s booked for. Once original design is booked, it may not be rebooked. HOWEVER, variations can be requested with small changes to make it unique to you.
- Custom Designs: extra $30; Please be specific about what you’re looking for. Attach reference images or explain in detail. Not all customs will be accepted as I will evaluate whether or not it aligns with my style!
2 rounds of minor revisions can be requested within the quoted price. After two rounds of revisions, each round will incur an extra $5 fee.
Redrawing a design will be a new $20+ fee.
* Minor revisions would include removing small objects (ex: a leaf or flower) or adding small details (ex: add a moon, a few leaves, changing ear shape) or changing the color of an object.
* Major revisions (redraw price is artist’s decision) would include larger changes like changing the coloring and and pattern of an animal, adding new objects/elements, redrawing faces, etc.
*Redrawing ($30+) would include compositional changes and detailed work. For example: redrawing entire objects, changing full coloring of piece, redrawing full animal/human poses, changing composition of entire piece, etc.
PRICING & DEPOSIT
Deposit of $150; this is fulfilled through my website shop. This is included in the price quote I will give you.
The deposit is included in the quoted price.
For weekday appointments, one reschedule is available for free if done 1 week before appointment. If you need to reschedule again for 2+ times, it will be an additional $20 each time. For weekend appointments, every rescheduling will incur a $20 reschedule fee. If you need to reschedule last minute (less than 1 week before appointment), you are at risk of losing your deposit or a $75 reschedule fee will automatically be applied.
Pricing: I generally work within a $250-280/hr range, less if it's a larger or bundled project.
Flash are on average between $350-600 depending on size/complexity/placement. But can be below or above the average price range.
Customs are priced according to size/complexity/placement + custom $30 fee
Bundled prices are an option and getting multiple tattoos done in one session is encouraged! Bundled prices will reflect costs saved through materials and setup.
** Please let me know if you have a budget you need to keep within; I will see if we can take a look at changing size, complexity, or placement to fit your budget. With that said, if you are on a budget and cannot commit to a tattoo at this time, that is completely ok!
PLACEMENT
Placement
- Preferred: Arms, legs, sternum, center chest
- No go’s: Ribs or side of stomach
Size
- I normally design my tattoos with a specific size range in mind of 2-6 inches. For extremely small tattoos, please keep in mind that tattoos will expand slightly as they heal. If you would like something to be much larger, please let me know so I can reserve adequate time for your session.
- Please provide an accurate measurement of what size you’d like in inches or centimeters. Please note that this will affect the price of your tattoo.
- On the day of your session I will print out a few size stencils so that you have a few options to choose from.
INK
Colored ink will almost always have an additional cost of $10-30 (depending on how many).
If you would like to request a custom color, it will be an additional $15 as I will need to purchase a new ink. I use Kuro Sumi Ink and Fusion Ink which are vegan.
TATTOO PRE-CARE
- Don’t drink alcohol for 24 hours before the tattoo appointment
- Keep area of skin generally moisturized before the appointment
- Eat food and stay hydrated before coming to your tattoo appointment
TATTOO AFTERCARE
Step 1- Second Skin: Leave on 3-5 days
Step 2- Take off Second Skin/Dermalize in shower under warm water
Step 3- Keep tattoo clean with nonfragranced antibacterial soap + water, twice a day
Step 4- Keep moisturized; we highly recommend Palmer’s Cocoa Butter or Coconut Oil
Step 5- Should be fully healed in 3-4 weeks
Step 6- Send healed photos! Please consider having someone else take the photo in natural or good lighting.
HANDPOKE VS. MACHINE
I always do machine tattoos nowadays! Please keep this in mind when booking, and apologies for any confusions.
Machine: Tattooing with a machine allows me to execute much more detailed designs with a wider array of colors and shading styles. If you are seeking a more complex design, it will almost always be done with machine.
SILENT APPOINTMENT
The option for a silent appointment is always available, you can opt for this option by checking the box for ‘Silent Appointment’ in the booking form. This will mean that I will try my best to have minimal verbal interaction with you, asking only essential questions and requests.
As well, please feel free to pop on your headphones during an appointment! If you can fall asleep during a session, that’s great as well. I generally like to have some easy chat with my clients and switch to silence when I need to focus.
